Garden Room & Outbuilding Electrical Supply
If you are building or have recently installed a garden office, studio, gym, or workshop, it needs a proper electrical supply — not an extension lead from the house.
We install dedicated circuits from your main consumer unit to your outbuilding using steel wire armoured (SWA) cable buried in a trench at the correct depth. Your garden room gets its own secondary consumer unit with RCD protection and an earth rod, so any fault in the outbuilding does not affect the rest of your home.
The installation includes lighting, sockets, heating circuits, and data cabling provision if needed. We test and certify everything to BS 7671 and issue a full Electrical Installation Certificate. We also notify Building Control on your behalf, which is a legal requirement for this type of work.
If your existing consumer unit cannot support an additional circuit, we will assess whether a consumer unit upgrade is needed and include that in your quote.
